Your clients ask what the competition is doing. Now you can answer with evidence.
The agency's problem
Every client wants the strategy conversation. Most agencies have to have it from instinct, a few hours of searching, and whatever the client's own team believes about the competitors. The research arm that would change that does not fit a retainer, and the firms that have one charge more for the first meeting than you charge for the quarter.
So the strategy slide is thin, the client notices, and the work that follows is harder to defend.
What you can put in front of a client
Finished intelligence, not a data export. A one-screen verdict a client can read in a minute, the full deliverable beneath it, and an Evidence Locker where every claim links to a dated capture. It is built to be shown to someone who will ask "says who", and it answers.
The products agencies brief us on most:
| The client's question | Intelligence | Delivered |
|---|---|---|
| What are the answer engines telling our buyers about us? | Public Perception Intelligence | 5 to 6 days |
| Why are we invisible or misdescribed, and what do we change? | Online Positioning Diagnostic | 6 to 10 days |
| Who are we really up against, and are we winning? | Competitive Intelligence Core | 7 to 10 days |
| Is the positioning right before we spend on the campaign? | Brand Positioning | 6 to 10 days |
| Where should the next dollar of growth spend go? | Digital Growth Plan | 6 to 10 days |
How it works with a client in the room, or not
You brief us the way you would brief a strategist you trust: the decision the client is facing, what you already know, what would change your recommendation. That takes an hour. If the client wants to add their own intake, they can. If the engagement needs to stay inside the agency until you are ready to present, we build from public and subscribed sources and the client is not contacted.
The deliverable is the client's to keep. You present it, you attach it to the plan, you put it beside your own recommendation. The method and the evidence are labelled as ours; the strategy that follows is yours.
Pricing you can mark up or pass through
Every price is published, so you know the number before the client call. Published prices apply to companies up to $100M in revenue, and the founding client rate applies through the end of 2026. Agencies that brief us on several clients a year are a different conversation: tell us the roster and we will come back with terms.
Why it holds up when the client checks
Clients check. A reader can click any sentence in a Rathvane deliverable and land on the capture: the page, the prompt, the date, the source. Ask Rathvane, a consultant trained on that engagement, is there for the client's questions after you have left the room, and it answers with the citation. And the guarantee applies to your clients as it does to you: if we do not provide value, nobody pays a dime.
Start with a client you are pitching
The free snapshot is one page on what the answer engines say about any company, within the week. Run it on the prospect before the pitch. It is usually the most interesting thing in the deck.
